Programs

Every path to the other shore

Each program meets trauma where it lives — in the body. Everything below rests under one umbrella: nervous-system regulation. All programs are offered free or at low cost to participants and funded by donors and grants.

The Women's Crossing

A somatic group experience for women who are living past the edge of survival and want more than endurance. Over a series of guided sessions, participants learn to read the signals of their own nervous system, settle activation as it arises, and rebuild a felt sense of safety in the body before anything else is asked of them.

Groups are small and trauma-informed. No one is asked to retell their story. The work is in the body, at the pace the body sets. Join the interest list →

Community Light Work

We bring the bridge to the organizations already doing the work — shelters, recovery programs, family services, and community networks across Orange County. Through workshops and facilitator training, staff and volunteers learn practical regulation tools they can use with the people they serve and, just as importantly, on themselves.

We also train Crossing Guides: community members prepared to hold this work inside their own neighborhoods, so it continues after we leave. Bring us to your organization →

The four steps of a crossing

Every crossing is unique, but the path follows the same arc.

Four practices, one foundation

Both programs are built from the same four practices. Each has its own page explaining what it is, what a session looks like, and who it serves.

Somatic Experiencing®

A body-based approach to resolving the physiological residue of overwhelming experience, developed by Dr. Peter Levine. Rather than revisiting the story, we work with what the nervous system is still holding, allowing incomplete survival responses to settle.

Somatic Breath Integration

Conscious, connected breathing paired with gentle body awareness. Breath is the one autonomic function we can take hold of directly, which makes it the most accessible doorway into regulation — particularly for people who have learned not to trust stillness.

The Values Factor

A structured method for identifying what a person's life is actually organized around. When people can name their own highest values, motivation stops requiring force. We use it to help participants set direction that will hold after the program ends.

Integrative Healing Practices

Grounding, ceremony, guided reflection, and restorative bodywork drawn from long-standing wisdom traditions, offered in service of the same goal: a nervous system that can rest, and a person who can feel it.

Bringing a program to your organization

If you run a shelter, recovery program, school, clinic, or community service in Orange County and want to explore a partnership, get in touch. Individuals interested in joining an upcoming Women's Crossing can reach us the same way.

You can also try The Reflection, a short, free self-inquiry rooted in nervous-system regulation, or help fund a crossing for someone who could not otherwise afford one.

Help light the bridge

Every program we run is free or low cost for the people it serves — funded entirely by people who decide to show up. Your gift funds a crossing for someone who could not otherwise afford one.
