From the Bridge
News & updates
What is moving at Crystal Bridge Foundation — milestones, press, and what is coming next. Updated July 2026.
A new home on the web
We rebuilt crystal-bridge.org from the ground up this month — including full pages for each of our four core practices and The Reflection, a free self-inquiry rooted in nervous-system regulation that you can take in about three minutes. If you are reading this, you are standing in the new house. Welcome.
Crystal Bridge Foundation is now on YouTube
Our channel is live at youtube.com/@CrystalBridgeFoundation. We will be sharing short teachings on nervous-system regulation, glimpses of the work, and stories from the bridge. Subscribe to walk with us there.
Our four core practices, finalized
After a season of curriculum work, the four practices behind our programs are finalized and documented: Somatic Experiencing®, Somatic Breath Integration, The Values Factor, and Integrative Healing Practices — all resting under one umbrella: nervous-system regulation. Each now has its own page explaining what it is, what a session looks like, and who it serves.
Founder Meghan Sickner featured in Voyage LA
Voyage LA profiled our founder on resilience, healing, and the story behind the foundation. “There is always more to explore — more wisdom than we realize, more resilience than we have been taught.” Read the feature →
Cohorts forming, partnerships growing
Interest lists are open for upcoming Women's Crossing groups, and we are in conversation with shelters, recovery programs, and family service organizations across Orange County about bringing Community Light Work to their teams. We are also preparing grant applications with Orange County funders to expand what we can offer free of charge. If your organization wants to be part of this season, reach out now.

Help light the bridge
Every program we run is free or low cost for the people it serves — funded entirely by people who decide to show up. Your gift funds a crossing for someone who could not otherwise afford one.
